“Will A G6 Roll” (Click to DL)

So this isn’t a new track, but it is hands down my favorite MashMaticians mashup to this date. The MashMaticians just opened for Basshunter the other night – AKA they’re up to some big bidness lately, so keep an eye on them. This is a mashup that every party-goer should have on their “going out” playlist. Actually, you don’t even have to be a party-goer. You could sit in your room alone and blast this. Cause I don’t do that. Ever.

If you’re not familiar with these Princeton DJs, check them out on Facebook: MashMaticians Facebook

“That’s My Bitch” – Kanye West & Jay-Z

New Kanye & Jay. Love the beat on this one. Very catchy hook, crazy track, amazing flow – not that you would expect anything less from two of the biggest guys in hip-hop.. I wonder if Kanye will outsell Nicki Minaj in album sales this week – doubt it! And by that I subconsciously mean I hope not. Nicki deserves it, which is why i bought her CD and don’t really feel like giving Kanye any more money than he already has. We’ll see how black Friday turns out..

“Raise Your Glass (Jump Smokers Remix)” – Pink

Radio is so awful today that I’m ALREADY sick of Pink’s “Raise Your Glass”. However, one of my favorite DJs, the Jump Smokers, remixed it and gave it a crazy beat. Pump your speakers for this one. Jump Smokers turned this song from pop/rock to banger with an attitude. BANGER I SAY!

ALBUM REVIEW: “Pink Friday” – Nicki Minaj

“Super Bass” – Nicki Minaj

“Save Me” – Nicki Minaj

Finally, the hip-hop queen releases her debut album! This is the first CD I bought a hard copy of in a loooong time, but I felt like I needed to buy it for some reason. Of course it’s an all-around amazing album, but I’m definitely not in LOVE with every single track like I thought I would be. Nicki sings on a bunch of the tracks, and either her vocals are ON or she has some terrific engineers. I’m gonna go with her vocals are ON, becaue I love her. With features from Kanye, Eminem, Drake, and more, Nicki really let the public know she’s here to stay with Pink Friday.

Above is my favorite song from the album, “Super Bass” – though upon seeing the title I thought it would have an insane bass, really it’s just a great poppy song. Nicki’s flow never ceases to amaze me. She can rap at 5 different paces in one song, change it up a ton of times (which she does), and it’s incredible every time. You should really think about BUYING this album, because it’s really worth your “Muny” (that’s a reference to a track on the album…hehe)

“Save Me” is my other favorite, which is a slower, electro/synthy instrumental, with great vocals & lyrics. Love the harmonies at the end of the song. All around ear noms.

“Blow Ya Mind” is another super goodie. It’s an insane track. At first I was a little annoyed at its redundancy, but it grew on me quickly and now I love it. “Now this is the anthem!”

4.95 stars Nicki! BUY THIS ALBUM!

“Bad Guy” (Click to DL)

Here’s some new Wiz Khalifa that’s more “Say Yeah” than “Hey Girl”, if you know what I mean. It’s a fun one. I honestly don’t have much more to say. Sorry.

Sorry for the delay in posting by the way, this winter weather finally got the best of me.

“More (RedOne Remix)” – Usher

Wowza. This is a crazy track. A lot of Top 40 is starting to sound the same, like Usher, Enrique, Taio Cruz, and more have very similar sounding songs. This one definitely fits into that category, but nonetheless is superb. Definition of a BANGER. Producer RedOne remixed the track and made it…..just wow. Hear it for yourself. I love Usher!

“Never Forget You” – Lupe Fiasco

“Never Forget You” (Click to DL)

New Lupe! Super catchy, super awesome, super super. I feel bad for Lupe, since his label has been giving him a hard time (understatement) with releasing his new album, Lasers. We’re all waiting not-so-patiently! Hurry up! Anyway, this song is great. I’m not sure who’s on the chorus, but whoever it is, I love it. Nice, smooth, slower pop track. By slower I mean not a massive electro-banger.

“Make It Rain Dubstep” (Click to DL)

Another AMAZING dubstep remix from 5 & A Dime! I was super impressed with their “Teach Me How To Dubstep” and “Can I Have Some Bass With That”, but this is awesome. It samples everything from Fat Joe’s “Make It Rain” to Lady Gaga’s “Love Game”, The Cataracs, and even a clip from the YouTube phenomenon “Double Rainbow”. If you like dubstep, please enjoy.

ALBUM LEAK: “Detox” – Dr. Dre

“I Need A Doctor” – Dr. Dre Feat. Eminem

“Kush” – Dr. Dre Feat. Snoop Dogg & Akon

So everyone and their mother (well maybe that’s a stretch, my mom def doesn’t know who Dr. Dre is) knows that his upcoming album Detox is way overdue.  Here are two songs that have leaked off of Detox, both pretty incredible. The first is “I Need A Doctor” which features Eminem. I love the chorus, it’s so catchy and fitting to the tone of the song. It was supposedly produced by Alex Da Kid, the producer behind “Airplanes” and many other radio hits. He’s a cocky one, but talented for sure. Eminem delivers as usual.

The second song is “Kush” featuring Snoop Dogg and has a sick beat, which is obviously expected from Dre. This one is for all those stoners who enjoy hip-hop music. So basically, everyone in college – this one’s for you. Akon is also on the chorus, which only enhances the song. Akon’s whiney voice irritates me sometimes, but it definitely works in this song.

“Hold up wait a minute, let me put some beats up in it”
