Hippie Girl” (Right click + “Save link as” to DL)

Love this! Here’s an awesome, chill song for your summer playlist. My friend Nick tipped me off about these guys, and I’m loving their alternative feel. It’s smooth, chill, collegey hip-hop, mixed with a hint of reggae and pop music. Almost G-Love-ish.  The lyrics to this song are ridic.

“She likes really fat blunts and Natural Lights,

She loves festivals, she wants my testicles”

Words to live by. Awesome song though. A Cool Stick has opened for Drake, Sam Adams, Big Sean, and Citizen Cope, and also recently received recognition as “Baltimore’s Best Hip-Hop Act” by the Baltimore City Paper. Keep an eye out for them!

“Hell of a Life” – Kanye West

“Gorgeous” – Kanye West Feat. KiD CuDi & Raekwon

I avoided watching Kanye West’s 30 minute film about nothing for awhile cause he irritates me so much. I finally watched it in its entirety, and it was actually pretty spectacular. The combination of visuals and music really made it a piece worth watching. Is he still a douche bag? Hell yea. Some things never change. BUT, although it kills me inside to say this, Kanye is extremely talented and I must give credit where credit is due. So yes, you win AGAIN, Kanye. His new album is sick. Above are 2 of my favorites from My Beautiful Dark Twist Fantasy, which is set to be released November 22nd. Great production as usual, lyrics ranging from meaningful to porn, as usual. I like how Kanye continues to get artsier as he progresses through his career. You’re still a bully though!

“P*ssy & religion is all I need” – Kanye West.

Words to live by. Our points of view differ immensely.

“Sleazy” (Click to DL)

Sheeeeit here’s a huge, heavy, bass-hang-low club-banger from Ke$ha. She’s so dirty it freaks me out beyond words, but I’m obvs gonna be bumping to this all LOLloween weekend. She’s like, rapping… The more I listen to this song the more I love it, it’s such a dark blast-it-in-your-car song. LOVE IT. Thanks for the memories Ke$ha. Epitome of a club-banger.

This whole song is a “Words To Live By” category. Wait all her songs are…

Get sleazy beeeeitch.

Take “I Can’t Dance” home.

This is:

1. Some awesome new LMFAO for you to dance to.

2. Even better if you’re Jewish and like making fun of yourself (me)

3. Simon Rex being hilarious (& a cameo by Andy Milonakis…)

4. An amazing video

The name of the song they covered escapes me, but I can not believe that someone took a traditionally Hebrew song and made it techno. Wtf LMFAO? You never cease to amaze me.

Comedy & techno music that isn’t The Jersey Shore, does it get better?

“I can’t dance. I’m too Jewish.”

Personal words to live by.

This is hilarious! I’m not posting this as a joke, I like this song…. If you haven’t seen the massively viral Antoine Dodson “Bed Intruder” video, buy a computer click this red type IMMEDIATELY. I cannot believe that a typically ignorant American received this much fame for being…well, ignorant. Someone then autotuned his idiotic slurs, put a beat behind it, and it’s now on iTunes. As if that wasn’t good enough, the lead singers of Paramore, New Found Glory, and Relient K collaborated on making ANOTHER “Bed Intruder” remix. Touché my friends, touché.

Ok, this is amazing. Try not to listen to the lyrics though, they’re absolutely ridiculous. I’m not afraid to say I still love Chris Brown. Quite frankly, I want to smack Rihanna, but that’s not ok to say anymore because of him. I obvs don’t condone what he did to her, he’s a douche – a beautiful, talented, HOTT douche. I LOVE Nicki Minaj’s “Your Love” so so much, so when I saw Chris Brown remixed it, naturally I peed a little. Kidding, but it’s almost that good.

“Just wanna getchu to ma sex room and do my shit

And i dont mean restroom”

Obviously not you sicko…Words to live by.

In case you’re new to Jillboard, I like to call people out in the music industry out for being, well, dumb. The lyrics that fly today are insane, so I categorize these little diddy’s as “Words To Live By”. Check that category out for some lollable action.

Uhhhh, I’m gonna regret posting this. Is this serious? This Dr. Luke production was made after a YouTube video about a sick song called “Milk Milk Lemonade” – yes, it’s exactly what you think it’s about. This is really a sick joke. If I didn’t love Katy Perry, there’s no way in hell I would post this song. It’s funny, but like….no. This song makes me feel thoroughly uncomfortable. Will it blow up? Yea, it probably will.

Music industry, you are weird, and you never cease to amaze me.

“Milk, milk, lemonade, round the back’s where chocolate’s made”.

Words to live by I guess? Feel like I need to shower after listening to this..

This song is so commercial it kills me. It’s the definition of sell-out pop – it’s about BOOTIES. I complain a lot on this blog, but when it comes down to it, I’m still listening to these stupid songs and loving the crap out of them. While this song could’ve been so much better had it been about something meaningful, it still sounds good talking about booties. I talk about instrumentals a lot and that’s because you can’t make a crap instrumental and sell it. However, think about how many songwriters get paid for their horrible lyrics about booties/strippers and get rich – they can thank their producers for that money. In the pop music scene, instrumentals are crucial to having a great song. This is not to say songwriters suck, because that’s obviously ridiculous – sometimes lyrics are the best part of the song, but it’s the instrumental that makes you dance. But back to Black Dada, it’s a really really catchy song and I really hate admitting I like songs like this, but god I LOVE them. Check it out I guess.

“Just you and me.. and your booty.

We are a perfect match.”

Another song from the guy who thinks he could rip off *NSYNC’s asterisk without anyone caring. It’s really good though – if you like dance music, you’ll love it. I like this guy’s music a lot, but I can’t look at him…he looks like such a douche lord.

“Oh hell no girl you can’t just put it on my sideburn!”

Yea, words to live by. Although I don’t appreciate the disrespecting of the Minaj. RESPECT HER.

New Nicki Minaj & Sean Garrett. I like the piano in this song. It’s very catchy, plus it has Nicki in it, so I’m obvs a fan. Watch the Barbie’s new song (technically it’s not her song, but who cares about Sean Garrett when Minaj is in his song?) Love it!
