Where Dem Girls At (feat. Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida)” (Right click + “Save link as” to DL)

I thought everyone was over the David Guetta phase, since most of his songs sound the same, but I guess not. This is probs gonna be a radio hit, but it sounds like at least 3 other Flo Rida songs I know.  Not very original, but feel free to dance. I’ll allow you to dance to this..

“Like A G6 (Rock Cover)” (Click to DL)

“Club Can’t Handle Me (Rock Cover)”

Usually I’m not a fan of YouTube cover artists, because there’s so many people covering the same songs and trying to make it that it just gets old. Stop mooching off others’ hits and make some originals, jeez! You can’t just have a YouTube channel of you singing Top 40 songs. It won’t work. Sorry for that little vent sesh, but anyway… I just posted a couple covers by YouTube talent Sam Tsui, which resulted in me getting the tip-off from a friend to check out Tyler Ward. My initial reaction was “oh jeez, another YouTube cover artist”. However, this guy makes really cool covers! Above are my two favorites of Tyler’s.  Both songs are two of my favorite Top 40/club hits today, and Tyler Ward made them rock ‘n roll & beastly.  Absolutely in love with the “Like A G6” rock cover. The other is “Club Can’t Handle Me”, another rock cover.

P.S. How cute is he!? Aww! Sorry, putting the inner fan girl away.

Flo Rida is the sheeeeeeeeeeit lately! I hear negative Flo chatter all around me, and I’m not sure why, because I think he’s amazing. Then again, I am a music major, and most music majors think pop music is horse crap. Can Flo Rida shred pianos like Bach? Who cares, he’s richer than you. Dance to it!

P.S. Don’t call me ignorant cause I will destroy you in a debate over this. DE. STROY.

“Who Dat Girl (Prod. by Dr. Luke)” (Click to DL)

Flo Rida is hawwwttt right now. He keeps pumping out killer electro-poppish tracks and I’m loving it. I kind of hate him for pronouncing “Florida” wrong, but hey, he’s famous, he does what he wants. This track is produced by Dr. Luke, who is epic on the pop scene. He’s produced half of the pop songs you know. J.R. Rotem produced the other half. You’re not a reallll doctor though Liggity-Luke, right? You’re more like a pop doctor. A smooth pop operator. A smooth poperator. Boom.

Take “Imagine A G6” home.

I am sooooo NOT sick of G6 yet, or any Far East Movement for that matter. They’re awesome. This song is a SICK. SICK. mashup of “Imagine” (as performed by the Glee Cast – win), “Club Can’t Handle Me” by Flo Rida & David Guetta (WIN) and “Like A G6”. Triple win. “Club Can’t Handle Me” has the most amazing, feel good instrumental. Love it so good. Mochi Beats is offish the shet.

Take “Turn Around (5,4,3,2,1)” home.

I have to say that when Flo Rida first came out (with “Low”), I could not stand him. Nowadays, he makes amazing club-bangers with great instrumentals, fun lyrics, and is at the top of his game. His lyrics may not mean anything at all in the scheme of life, but I’m having fun, so… This is a new song from his upcoming album due out late November. Can’t wait for his new album. Just when I thought the word “Florida” could never ever look cool, this guy…
