This song came out sooo long ago and the video JUST came out. However, that only helped it succeed – raking in over 1 million views in its first week. Holy guacamole. I’ve loved this song since it came out, but I can’t say the same about the video. It’s kind of DISGUSTING. You’ll like this if you are a guy or a lesbian. Otherwise, here’s your disclaimer: Jillboard does not support whore-house music videos with excessive, dirty touching. There’s a difference between innuendo/suggestive material and straight up sucio. I really expected better things for this video. The song’s still awesome though. AWESOME.

In The Dark (Prod By The Cataracs)” (Right click + “Save link as” to DL)

Wowzahhh! Got a heads-up email about this one and it’s soooo good. Definitely one of the best Dev/Cataracs collabs to date. Imagine “Stereo Love” mixed with Dev’s “Booty Bounce”. Yea, that good. Such an amazing track by The Cataracs. I can now add this to my list of favorite songs called “In The Dark”. The list is 2 songs long. The other is by JoJo.

“Back Seat (Feat. Dev) (Prod. by The Cataracs)” –  (Click to DL)

UM WOW what a killer combo – Dev, The Cataracs, and New Boyz!? Crazy. Do I even have to coerce you to listen to this track? If Dev & The Cataracs are on a song, you shouldn’t have to think twice about it. Personally, I love New Boyz, but I get the vibe that it’s not that cool to like them. I don’t curr! Do what I WANT.

“Bass Down Ayo” (Click to DL)

Here’s The MashMaticians’ last track of ’10 and it’s a killer. It’s a mash between two fantastic songs, Dev’s “Bass Down Low” and Hyper Crush’s “Ayo”.  I wish I posted this earlier, cause I would’ve said to put this on your New Year’s Eve party playlist…woops.  You can put this on your….going back to school party playlist? …

“Bass Down Low (Explicit)” (Click to DL)

Smitten with this song. I was obvs already a Cataracs fan, but I’m def a Dev fan now too. She’s so cool! Dev is the definition of cool. She’s not really singing, but she’s not really rapping, she’s just spending her time being cool.  The video is a club video with COOL twist to it. In case I didn’t say “cool” enough in this post…..COOOOOOL. If you don’t know Dev yet… well you should. That’s all.

“Wet (Prod. by The Cataracs)” – Snoop Dogg

“Wet” (Click to DL)

This song is beyond dirty, which I’m not a fan of… However, it’s produced by the Cataracs, so you know it’s good. Sick beat and sick song, but like…TMI, Snoop. Seriously. There’s been sexual innuendo in pop songs since pop songs started being called “pop songs”, but honestly this is too much. You can have sexy, flirty, clever lyrics without being gross. This one crosses the line for me. Am I alone on this one? No? Yes? Yes no?

“Kick Us Out (Prod. By The Cataracs)” – Hyper Crush

“Kick Us Out” (Click to DL)

I’m not 100% smitten with this song…YET. Keyword: yet. Sometimes I need some time for a song to grow on me, to acclimate to the artistic atmosphere, if you will. However, it is by Hyper Crush and produced by The Cataracs, both artists who I LOVE. So I’m sure in time I will come to adore this song. Until then, I’ll just wait.

…..Still waiting.
